I can't say enough about how much Lex Bannister's Sweat Camp has improved my life. Before joining, I was struggling with borderline high blood pressure at 140/90. Now my blood pressure is perfect at 127/77 and I have never felt better both physically and mentally! A connection from the shared commitment between all of us is what gets me excited about going to class while others sleep. As long as Lex continues to share himself, his experience, and his workout programs, he will have a student named Keith Wallace.

For months I have heard from my boss and my wife, how incredibly satisfying and grueling Lex Bannister’s Boot Camps can be. I have often laughed at them when they were sore after some of Lex’s more intense sessions. I suppose, even to the point where they got tired of hearing me mock them, and they started challenging me to take one of his sessions. Well, I accepted the challenge and completed Lex's last Boot Camp of 2009. I can say that I got everything out of the session and more. Not only did I lose inches off my waist line, I built muscle, and even more important I felt healthy for the first time in a long time. I cannot wait for January 2010 for Lex's next Bellingham Boot Camp!

I was half joking when I said I was joining Lex's Sweat Camp so I could look cute by the time I went to Vegas. The rest of the story is that I wanted to get back in shape after letting a running injury nearly two years ago kill my motivation to work out, and I was looking for something to jump-start my fitness routine. I got so much more than I bargained for. This was the most intense, inspiring and positive change I've ever made for my health. In addition to being a fitness expert, Lex must be part psychologist because he's able to work with our different personalities,figuring out what we respond to individually, and motivating all of us to work as hard as we can. The whole class adopted Lex's no-excuses approach, cheering each other on to push harder or go faster. I really didn't expect to see results so fast, but the changes were dramatic - in the shape of my body, my attitude, my relationships and my mental sharpness. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I will find any excuse to sleep an extra hour. But I made it to every class in the January session because I felt so much better. And on top of everything else, I did look cuter by the time I went to Vegas!

During this hiatus between sweat camp sessions I find myself really missing the workouts! I've always exercised but nothing has gotten me into shape like Lex's routines...at 35 I'm in the best shape of my life! Lex has an amazing ability to always offer something new, which trains my body at the highest level and provides an environment that is never boring. I'm looking forward to a great year of sweat camp with the added fun of Club Sweat! You don't know what you're missing until you try it!

I just passed the Washington State Law Enforcement fitness test and I have to thank Lex for showing me the way. All the hard work in the class pays, if I hadn't taken this class I would have failed the fitness test. I am in the best shape I've ever been in and I continue to progress. Forget the late night tv gimmicks and standing around a machine at the gym. Sweat Camp will change your life.

I just finished my second sweat camp at Lex Bannister Fitness, and I'm hooked! The classes are very challenging, but also fun and rewarding. My strength has improved greatly, as well as my balance and coordination. As a result of becoming stronger, I am able to run much faster, and my race times have become much faster. Alex Bannister has changed my vision of health! I realize now that health is something I need to protect rather than take for granted. From the very first workout, I knew it was going to be different from any other exercise class i've ever taken. The first week was one of the most energizing and dynamic i've ever experienced! Lex not only conditions you physically, but also mentally. He inspires you to set goals and to have a mind set that you should not settle for anything less than your personal best. Sweat Camp has been such a great experience!! I hadn't done anything that physical in 14 years and I was definitely nervous, but now, I feel great, am looking better and can't BELIEVE I am getting up at 5 am to work out!!! First impressions are everything. Lex's commitment and professionalism is as industrious and up-keeping as the facility itself. Although I attended only for a visit, I am proud to have met many of the charming individuals that make up Lex's class. Being a member of the Armed Forces for 17-plus years, I recognize commitment when I see it. You will find no more camaraderie, cohesion, and selfless behavior in the most prestigious unit than you would in each heart of the individuals that attend Lex's classes. I was impressed that not only did the first person finish first in Lex's class, but but the last person finishes first as well. That feeling is made for everyone and it can't be bought.. you fight for it.. but when you have Lex's guidance and commitment accompanied by the individuals around you..it makes the fight for fitness easier. Lex's Sweat Camp has turned me into a whole new person. While everything on my body is shrinking, my confidence and competitiveness is rising. I am currently in my 2nd session of the 5:30 AM Sweat Camp. I am not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination, however, I have not missed one class because it is actually fun to get up and work out with a group of fantastic people and a great trainer. The one-on-one attention and instruction by Lex keeps me motivated to try harder and get better today. Don't be intimidated by Lex's credentials. Before this class, I hadn't done any type of organized athletics for 10 years. It wasn't easy, but with the help of Lex and the rest of the class, I was able to finish the first 6 weeks and continue on to the next session. The Lex Bannister boot camp was exactly what I needed. In the first 6-week session I have shed 12 pounds and am on my way to my goal of losing 30 to get my BMI in check. The benefits have already hit me with increased energy while playing with my kids, working around the house, and generally feeling my body getting into shape instead of staying out of shape. Alex Bannister’s Fitness Sweat Camp delivers. Having done Bikram hot yoga 3 to 4 times a day for the past year, I wanted to round out my physical fitness program by adding a strength component without getting back into heavy weights. The Sweat Camp has been perfect. Lots of variety and natural strength training techniques that use your own body weight and gravity to achieve great results. Another aspect of the Sweat Camp I thoroughly enjoyed was the social component. You work as a team spurring each other on. What I like most about Lex's class is the wide range of activities and how each workout is well balanced. I am always excited to go to each session and see what we will be doing. Lex has a lot of great exercises and strength building tools that you don't see at an average gym or the typical class. We rarely repeat the same drills. Although I was a latecomer to the "Sweat Camp With the Pros", I really felt welcome and comfortable about working out with Alex Bannister and the group. He is down to earth and very friendly. He is sensitive to your personal needs and never makes you feel bad for not being able to do something that the rest of the class is doing. Joy is also very sweet and makes you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. They make a great team and I would highly suggest training with the best!!!
